The Get In Step Line Dancers had quite a full day on Monday, December 8, 2014. They celebrated Christmas with both the Fannin County Senior Center and Pruitt Health by line dancing to a selection of Christmas Carols and visiting with those present. The line dancers also had their Christmas luncheon and enjoyed the opportunity to visit with each other.
We would like to thank all in our community and surrounding areas who provided us with the opportunity to share our love of line dancing with them during 2014!

LINE DANCERS ENTERTAIN AT COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER
The Get In Step Line Dancers and Copperhill Steppers were pleased to be a part of the entertainment at the fifth annual Community Thanksgiving Open Table sponsored by the Good Samaritans of Fannin County. The Good Samaritans of Fannin County is an interdenominational association of area churches which raises benevolent funds for Fannin County neighbors in need. In addition to the delicious Thanksgiving Dinner of Smoked Turkey with all the fixings, there was family style entertainment and children's seasonal craft activities.

Members of the Copperhill Steppers, McCaysville Steppers and Get In Step Line Dancers entertained at Pruitt Health on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Many in the appreciative crowd sang along to the songs the line dancers used in their performance and also enjoyed participating in the Chicken Dance and YMCA.

DANCERS ATTEND SCOOTER LEE'S CHARITY LINE DANCE HEALTH SEMINAR
Members of the Get In Step Line Dancers attended Scooter Lee's Dancing for the Dream Charity Line Dance Health Seminar on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in Blairsville, Georgia.

A great time was enjoyed by all when the Get In Step Line Dancers entertained at the Saints Alive luncheon held in the Fellowship Hall of the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church. After receiving a delicious lunch, the line dancers performed several dances and then encouraged the audience to participate in the Chicken Dance, YMCA and the Hokey Pokey.

Members of the Get In Step Line Dancers, Copperhill Steppers and McCaysville Steppers participated in the Downtown Blue Ridge Old Timers Parade on Saturday, July 5, 2014. As the line dancers rolled through the parade route, they had the crowd rockin' and joining in the hand motions to tunes such as the Chicken Dance and YMCA.

DANCERS ATTEND LINE DANCE JAMBOREE
The Get In Step Line Dancers and Copperhill Steppers had a great time at the 5th District Line Dance Jamboree held at the Cartersville Civic Center in Cartersville, GA, on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
A capacity crowd of 230 line dancers came together for a day of line dancing, as well as an opportunity to meet old friends and to make new friends. The instructors from the groups represented had the opportunity to teach a line dance and local instructor Sandy Schubert taught one of the line dances.

It was Military/Patriotic Day during Nursing Home Appreciation Week when the Get In Step Line Dancers entertained at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge on May 12, 2014. The dancers performed several dances to Patriotic Music then visited with those present and gave them friendship cards and gifts.

The Get In Step Line Dancers provided the entertainment for the April 2014 meeting of the Fannin County Homemakers. In addition to performing several dances, the line dancers invited the Homemakers to join them in a dance. The Homemakers then served some delicious refreshments for everyone.

DANCERS ENTERTAIN AT HERITAGE HEALTH CARE OF BLUE RIDGE
There were many smiling faces when the Get In Step Line Dancers entertained at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge on Monday, March 10, 2014. As an early St. Patrick's Day celebration, the dancers performed to Irish-flavored music and presented those present with friendship cards, green necklaces and shamrock bracelets.
